  • What size should I order?

    At Pea in a Pod our sizes correspond to your pre-pregnancy size. It is normal to increase 1-2 cup sizes in the bust and ribs, and to put on weight across the hip and thigh areas. However all our garments are specially designed to accommodate for this growth so in most cases, you will remain your same pre-pregnancy size.

    If you are normally between sizes or expecting twins we recommend that you go up one size.
  • Why should I spend money on Maternity clothing and not just buy a bigger size in normal clothes?

    Maternity wear is designed to grow with your bump, offer comfort and support – especially around the belly – and celebrate your feminine shape!

    Simply buying a bigger size in normal clothing, the measurements in the bust and shoulders will not align themselves with your beautiful, pregnant shape which can make you look frumpy.

    Non-maternity pants, shorts, and skirts can become especially uncomfortable as you continue to grow, with little available room for your bump.

    Here at Pea in a Pod, we understand the anxiety that surrounds buying a whole new maternity wardrobe which is why we design clothes with comfort and style in mind, and craft them in luxe fabrications that will last well after your baby is born.
  • Where is Pea in a Pod located?

    Our Design Studio & Store is located at 159 Sackville Street, Collingwood VIC (just before Hoddle Street.)

    You can find us here everyday between 10am - 4pm and after 4pm by appointment only.

  • Is Pea in a Pod available to try on and purchase in store?

    We welcome everyone to come into our Collingwood store, especially if you are expecting for the first time.

    Here you will find our experienced stylists and Jennie the designer on the shop floor to not only help you to find the perfect fit, but to answer any of your question (no matter how silly you think they are). We have been welcoming visitors into our store for a very long time and we take pride and joy in our face-to-face customer service.

  • If I purchase an eGift Card for someone will the recipient get the voucher automatically via email?

    Unfortunately, you have to manually forward the email you receive confirming the gift voucher at this point in time. The email will contain a unique voucher code and the AUD Value. Don't forget to add a message when you send it to your loved one.

  • Do I need to sign up for an account? Or can I check out as a guest?

    If you wish to check out as a guest, simply follow the prompts during checkout.
  • Can I track my order?

    You will get your unique tracking code and links to the couriers tracking page in your dispatched email sent out the day your order has left the warehouse.
  • Can I make changes to my order?

    If you have made a mistake with the items you ordered or the delivery address, it is better to call us straight away on +61 (03) 9415 6800 any day between 10am - 4pm. After hours please email warehouse@peainapod.com.au

    We will endeavour to intercept the order as quickly as possible, but please note, it may not be always possible to amend the order in time or at all. We can not be held responsible for any incorrect details entered by the customer.
  • How does the Pre-Order work?

    Pre-orders are items that are not yet in stock but are being manufactured (here in Australia) and will be ready to ordered at a later date.
    An estimated date of which can be found on the product page.

    If you complete a pre-order, this is treated like an in-stock order and you will be charged for the item(s) and shipping when placing your order.
    Your order will be mailed out to you as soon as it arrives to our warehouse.

    If you have placed an order with a pre-ordered garment as well as an in-stock garment, we will partially dispatch your order, so you receive your in-stock item/s straight away, and we will dispatch the “pre-ordered” garment to you when it has been made, unless you stipulate that you prefer otherwise in the comments section during checkout.
    No additional postage charged will be incurred in these circumstances.
  • How can I make a return or exchange?

    We hope you love your new Pea in a Pod pieces as much as we do but if you are not completely satisfied with the fit of the garment itself, we offer a simple and convenient exchange/return procedure.

    You should receive a Returns/Exchanges form with your order, outlining your order information and details about our returns/exchange policy and procedure.

    Please note the The following conditions apply:
    Item(s) must be returned within 14 days of purchase, 28 days for international.
    Item(s) must be returned in their original condition (Original tags attached, unworn and free of perfume smells or odours and marks)

    Your return parcel must include a “Returns & Exchange Form”.

    We do not accept any returns for underwear or hosiery due to hygiene reasons, Gift Certificates / Vouchers, In-store Credits or Sale items (deemed as Final Sale)

    * Your return will NOT be accepted should the above conditions not be met in full.
  • Can I return Sale items?

    Unfortunately all Sale items are deemed as “Final Sale” and cannot be refunded as per our Refunds Policy.
  • Does Pea in a Pod cover the cost of Returns / Exchanges.

    All costs associated with returning items to Pea in a Pod are the responsibility of the customer.
    Please note, you can always bring in your order paperwork and garment to our Collingwood Design Studio & Store.

  • My parcel has gone missing

    Unfortunately, Pea in a Pod holds no responsibility for lost parcels.
    We send our orders through a trusted and reputable service and after it leaves the warehouse, the delivery is out of our control.
    For this reason, we provide tracking information on every order so you can see the parcel’s journey and raise a query with the delivery service personally as you will have all the information on hand.
  • Can I personally return my order to the Pea in a Pod Design Studio and Store?

    Please call us on (03) 9415 6800 first to let us know you are coming and if you require a size exchange so we can put the garment/s aside for you.

    You will find us at 159 Sackville Street, Collingwood. We are open 10am - 4pm daily, or after 4pm via appointment only.
  • I’ve received a faulty item - what should I do?

    Although we go to extreme lengths to monitor our quality control, we can occasionally miss a faulty item.
    If you believe you have received a faulty item please call us or use the return procedures listed above.

    Your item will be inspected by our Quality Control Department, and if deemed to be faulty we will happily replace or refund the items(s) for you. Your return postage will be refunded and we will not charge you any additional postage fees.

    Please note that if your return garment is not deemed to be faulty it will not qualify for a replacement or refund and will be posted back to you at your cost.
